The 2013 Visual Arts Nova Scotia (VANS) Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, June 1st at the Celtic Circle in New Glasgow was an eventful occasion filled with fantastic artworks by VANS Members and great conversation about the achievements of the organization outlined in the 2012-13 Annual Report.

At the AGM, VANS said their thanks to the staff and Board of Directors for their dedication, team work and collegiality, spiriting the visual arts in Nova Scotia forward. In particular, thanks was given to outgoing board member and regional representative Onni Nordman (Cape Breton), who passionately served the organization, contributing to our shared legacy of advancing the visual arts and artists in Nova Scotia.

During the AGM, the membership elected the 2013-14 Board of Directors, please join us in welcoming, new and returning board members:
