VANS 2024 AGM
Visual Arts Nova Scotia’s Annual General Meeting will take place over Zoom on Tuesday, June 18, 2024. Join us at 7 pm to find out about VANS’ accomplishments this year and elect our new Board Members.

After registering, you’ll receive a confirmation email containing the link you can use to join the meeting. All are welcome at the AGM but remember that only VANS members in good standing can vote and make or second motions.

You can download Zoom in advance for free and you will need a good internet connection. It is best if you use a laptop or tablet to attend the Annual General Meeting, rather than a phone, and you do not need a webcam to attend. If your internet cuts out during the meeting, Zoom will try to reconnect you automatically. Also, please note that we are recording the AGM.
Having trouble connecting? Try going to zoom.us, click on Join A Meeting, and enter the meeting ID. Can see the Zoom meeting but your audio has cut out? TO JOIN:
1. Click on the link above which will prompt you to download or open Zoom
2. Enter the passcode (included in your confirmation email) if prompted
3. You will enter a virtual waiting room until the AGM starts at 7 pm AT, at which time we will admit all attendees
4. Please ensure that your mic is muted during the AGM
5. If you have a webcam you can choose to turn it on or off, as per your preference
6. During the AGM, if you want to make or second a motion, vote in opposition, or ask a question please type it in the chat function (rather than un-muting your mic or raising your hand)
