As a VANS member, you qualify for an additional 10% discount at Deserres art supply stores (both the physical location and online). You first have to join Deserres’ Creative Club (free to join) either in person or online. You will need to demonstrate proof of your VANS membership using one of the following:

1. Your Membership Confirmation email
2. Your receipt from the VANS website (log in, then in the My Account section, click on Receipts in the left column). Please note that a receipt won’t exist on the VANS website if you paid for your membership by cheque/ cash/ square reader.
3. Your E-receipt (sent as a pdf attachment to your membership confirmation email). If you weren’t automatically sent an E-receipt, please email us at communicate@visualarts.ns.ca and we can generate one for you.

IN STORE

• Show a cashier proof of VANS membership to get your discount (one of the three options listed above)

ONLINE

• This is a longer process. In order to get the extra 10%, you first need to sign up for the Deserres Creative Club (which is free) with your name and email address on the Deserres website.
• Then in your Account page, scroll down to the section that says Want to save an additional 10%? Under that title is the Artist Association Member option. Click on that and upload your proof of membership to validate your VANS membership with Deserres (see images below).
• VANS doesn’t currently have membership cards, but we do have E-receipts that you can either get from your account on the VANS website (once you log in there is a receipts section, where you can download your receipt or take a screenshot), or we can generate a pdf receipt for your membership and send it with an email to you.
• You can then upload a jpeg image or pdf of either type of receipt to the Deserres site and soon after you should receive an email confirming that your Deserres account has been updated (or check that your account status has been updated on their website) and you are an Artist Association Member, qualifying for the additional 10% discount.
