Are you part of an artist collective, an arts group, or a gallery who wants to create a new public engagement project or add a great component to an existing one? If so, you should really apply for VANS Open Grants program before the Saturday, April 15 deadline.

We are looking to support projects that enhance your community, whether that is through an artist talk, a pop-up residency, educational programming, a public intervention, an exhibition, or something great that we haven’t thought of. The intention of this Open Grants program is to encourage exhibition/art engagement activities across Nova Scotia. For our 40th anniversary, we have expanded the previous Open Grants program so please read the description carefully.

Any gallery, group or collective is eligible to apply for up to $750 to assist with costs related to an activity. Just fill out a short application form and project budget, which will be reviewed by a committee and you will be notified of their decision within 2 weeks.
