Meet our new Social Media Coordinator, Emily Lawrence! Emily is excited to help promote some of the wonderful things happening in the arts community here and on our other social media channels. Emily currently works as a professional artist and promotions specialist in Halifax. She began working with arts organizations throughout her education at NSCAD University where she developed an affinity for the visual language of digital communications. She continues to work in the non-profit sector — her favourite part of her work is helping artists, artisans, and small business owners grow into their marketing potential. Emily is also a former mentee of the VANS Mentorship Program and long-time VANS newsletter advocate.
