This is ME – VANS Regional exhibition, Cumberland, Colchester & East Hants
Visual Arts Nova Scotia welcomes the public to This is Me – VANS Regional Exhibition at the Fraser Cultural Centre in Tatamagouche. Select members of Visual Arts Nova Scotia (VANS) living in the Cumberland, Colchester and East Hants County will be exhibiting their work at the Fraser Cultural Centre from June 17- July 6th, 2011.
The regional exhibition travels from Truro, NS where it was on display at the McCarthy Hall Gallery at the NSCC campus. The Tatamagouche exhibition features work by select members living in the Cumberland, Colchester and East Hants County. Artists participating in this exhibition include Wendy Irvine, Taylor Redmond, Cristina Sidhu, Norene Smiley, Krista Wells, Kerry Geddes, Jenny Gilmore, Janice Guinan, Myrna Hambleton, Niki Hoyle, Heather Lawson, Betty Rector, Diane Redden, Mark Schwartz, Vanessa Stevens, Janice Stewart, Darlene Watters, Marilyn Whalen, Kathryn Belzer, Jennifer Marlow, Kelly Morehouse, Marie Murakami and Barbara Page.
Exhibiting artists display a range of work in painting, sculpture, textiles and photography and are further diversified by different styles and theoretical backings. This is me is thus an exhibition featuring the diversity of VANS’ membership.
The exhibition will be on view at the Fraser Cultural Centre in Tatamagouche, NS until July 6th, 2011.
