VANS in Residence provides a studio space, a stipend to support the artist to work full time for 4 weeks, and support from VANS and Wonder’neath in outreach. Time will be split between the artist’s own work (creation, research or both) and to community based work. The outreach will need to be done by distance, either by packages sent out to families in the community, or by online workshops made available.⠀

This VANS in Residence will take place from March 1 – 28, 2021. The planning week can take place anytime up to February 21, 2021. A stipend of $2500 will be paid to the artist and a studio in the Wonder’neath Studios at 2482 Maynard St., in Halifax, NS.⠀
