The PAINTS program is seeking initial sketches/outlines for workshops that you could lead remotely. All workshops will be either online in real time via Google classrooms, or facilitated by the teacher with paper prompts provided by the artist as a guide to take students through a process. In 1975, Kyle Jackson stood across the table from Andy Warhol and handed him a soup can. While the famous artist used a black sharpie and signed the can of Campbell’s tomato soup, Kyle decided the life of the artist was the life for him.
Visual Arts Nova Scotia is pleased to announce a new VANS in Residence project. In partnership with The Woodlawn Public Library and with the support of the 2013 HRM Artist in Residence Initiative, this residency of a PAINTS artist will take place in March 2014.
