For two, 90-minute classes, students will be drawing their hearts out. With silly prompts, weird objects, unique problem solvers and imaginative responses student will see that drawing is a wonderful way to communicate their ideas, represent something they have seen, or imagine a place or creature they have never met. When given a few drawing techniques and the confidence to give it a go, students are introduced to a new world of play, storytelling, communication and art-making. The time will be filled with short drawing games and warm ups to drawings that take more time, use elements of texture, mark making, paper folding, expression and imagination.
