Job: Social Media Coordinator
Visual Arts Nova Scotia is seeking a Social Media Coordinator
$500 for 1 month contract with potential to renew
5 hours per week, flexible schedule
Reporting to: Becky Welter-Nolan, Executive Director, Visual Arts Nova Scotia
Location: remote
The Social Media Coordinator will create posts and stories via Buffer for social media with content provided by the Executive Director, Programming Coordinator, and PAINTS Coordinator. The coordinator will also monitor Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook for the Visual Arts Nova Scotia accounts. 12-20 posts per month. Light editing of text required. Images provided. Inquiries received on social media accounts will be directed to the appropriate staff person by the coordinator.
The successful applicant will have excellent coordination, promotion and administrative skills. Experience and interest in the visual arts in Nova Scotia is an asset. Previous experience managing social media required.
