Call for Proposals
Professional Development Workshop Proposals
Application Deadline: August 29, 2016

As part of our mandate, Visual Arts Nova Scotia offers professional development workshops to its members and artists around the province. These workshops discuss topics related to the artist’s creative and professional practice. Workshops offered in the past have included Taxes for Artists, Writing for the Arts, Documenting Your Work, and Making Time to Make Art. In addition to these successful workshops we are looking for workshop proposals to enhance the success of visual arts in Nova Scotia. By offering professional development workshops, VANS keeps its members informed and aware of their opportunities.

Workshop proposals must address our mandate and outline the professional development participant outcomes. The proposal must also include: Workshop title, description, outline, location, maximum number of participants, and a description of equipment needs.

Application will include:

•  CV (résumé), including contact information of 2 references
•  Cover letter
•  Proposal (conditions listed above)
