Selected Biography

Tasha Matthews (Tasha Grace Designs) is a traditional silversmith whose work features intricacy, flowing lines and whimsy. She excels at wire weaving which is an unusual technique that produces delicate and complex patterns with very thin wire.

She began her jewellery business while living in Manitoba. Now, she has returned to her Nova Scotian roots to pursue a career as a full-time Artisan, surrounded by the forests that inspire her so deeply.

She is currently an Artist in Residence at the Customs House Gallery in Cape Breton, NS.
