Artist Statement

My love for creating art runs deep, and my favorite imagery to create is that which will transport the viewer to a fanciful and whimsical place. I want to make the viewers of my work smile. I love the bold colours I get from the watercolours, and I use ink pens to create intricate detail and define the image.

Biography

Illustrator, military spouse and mom living and working in Greenwood, NS. Achieved a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Mount Allison University and a master’s degree in Art Conservation from Queen's University. Currently serving on the Board of Directors for the non-profit group NOVA 7Arts. 7Arts is gallery, hub for artists and the community to gather, create art and offers all ages art lessons.
