Artist Statement

My work is inspired by spirituality, mythology and the natural world around me. I also enjoy learning about the history of craft and design and am often inspired by other artist's stories. I use multiple materials in my work to enhance texture - I like people to want to feel and touch my work.

Biography

Sara Adams is an artist, dancer and educator who lives in the Annapolis Valley, NS. She is passionate about arts education and arts integration in public schools. Her preferred artistic medium is textiles and mostly engages in traditional rug hooking and knitting.
