Artist Statement

Peter Lockerbie is a draftsperson living in Digby Nova Scotia whose works include illustrations, paintings and comics. His work focuses on the small details that make up our larger world, and the humor necessary to exist within its complexities.

Biography

Peter began drawing comics with his brothers as a child and hasn't stopped since. Peter and Chris Lockerbie started Culprit Comix in 2008. From 2016 to the present Peter has produced illustrations and comics for the podcast "Pete's Paranormal Universe" written and produced by Corey Mombourquette.

Peter has created public artwork and murals for several businesses and events, including The Atlantic Film Festival, The Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, The Western Regional Enterprise Network, Strange Adventures Comics Shop and the Towns of New Glasgow and Yarmouth.
