Artist Statement

Clay is a unique material that shifts over time, evolving with new ideas and expressions. I often start a piece and make drastic design changes when it no longer excites me. This constant transformation is what gives the final work its vibrancy—something I can't achieve with digital tools. The meaning of a piece also evolves during the process, often drawing from timeless stories and diverse mythology.

Biography

A graduate of NSCAD University, I began my career as a 3D sculptor with Leartes Studios. Though my early work was digital, I discovered a deeper fire in working by hand—and have not looked back since.
