Artist Statement

Lesley paints in acrylics. Currently, she is producing a series of paintings that offer interpretations of modern motherhood. Her work was recently selected to appear in The Phoebe Journal. A transplant from Toronto, she also enjoys painting scenes of the nature and wildlife in Nova Scotia. Self-taught, she often favors bright and colorful subjects.
