Biography

Joanna Miller was born in London into an artistic family. She was encouraged from a young age to pursue the arts and went on to study visual art at an esteemed secondary school. After studying design in post secondary school, Joanna lived in Toronto for several years before moving to Nova Scotia in 2021 with her family.

Joanna is a multidisciplinary artist, working in fine, decorative, and sartorial art. She is influenced by the art and music of the Romantic and Impressionist eras, and the philosophy of the Arts and Crafts movement of the early 20th century. Joanna loves classical music, jazz, and history. Through her art, Joanna aims to inspire us to see and celebrate all that is good and beautiful in the world.
