Artist Statement

Hammer and Sky Studios is an artist space and residency for artists from here and away. Located on Brier Island, a remote island on the Bay of Fundy, its’ facilities include a large restored heritage church, a fully equipped house that can accommodate up to 4 artists, two independent studios, and a separate fully equipped loft that can accommodate two artists. The church serves as a common studio, workshop and exhibition space that also gives artists access to a vintage printing press.
