Coral Leander Maloney [++++euro/±latina/~unspecified borders] [Atkinson Wurz Amaya Torres Millar Scott Krysska] is an interdisciplinary artist and performance-maker based in Halifax in Mi’kma’ki territory. Raised on the prairies in Treaty 1 & Treaty 2 territories, her collaborative and independent work frequently examines nostalgia and colonial fervour; she invites place-based individual and ancestral reckoning and makes queer mischief with time, space and site-specific experience. Her work has been called “captivating” and “challenging” and has been shared in festivals, galleries, performance productions and as social intervention in various regions.
