Christine Consmueller

Artist Statement

My artwork is intuitive and influenced by the surroundings I live in. Every piece is a new experience and reflects my heart, soul and mind.
The creative process is fluid so I don't commit to a specific style but am influenced by cubism, expressionism and fauvism.
My artwork is influenced by the world around me, people, nature, lines and how those intersect, including the unknown and imagined. Abstract forms, disrupted realism are my principal focus , usually expressed in acrylics and mixed media.
My goal is to inspire people through my work and to illustrate that the world around us can be viewed in a variety of imaginative ways,
