Artist Statement

I am moved and uplifted by beauty, nature and a positive vision for the future. Thus inspired, I aim to bring positive energy into my clients’ environments through my works. Achieving this brings me great joy.

Biography

My professional development began in Architecture at the School of Architecture, Dalhousie University, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, graduating later with a Degree in Architecture and pursuing a career as a Professional Architect for several years. Later undertaking a commitment for continuous evolution in my painting, I trained with well known artists such as David Lussier, Connecticut, Terry Masters and Elaine Matthews, Palm Springs California, Bill Rogers, Nova Scotia, Colin Page, Maine, T M Nicholas, New England and Joe Paquet of Minneapolis. Recognition in painting has been achieved by being juried into exhibitions at the Lunenburg Art Gallery, Swoon Fine Art Juried events and events sponsored by the Laguna Plein Air Artists Association in California and shown at the Forest and Ocean Gallery in Laguna Beach. In 2017 I exhibited at the Tell Me a Story Exhibition, Women in Art, at the LA Quinta Museum in La Quinta California. In addition my work was juried into the AC/UCR exhibit sponsored by the Palm Springs Art Museum Artists Council and the University of California/Riverside in Palm Desert Desert, California.
