Artist Statement

I create beauty inspired by the world around me. My travels, my readings and a whole generation of colourist and naturalist painters inspire and guide my creation between urban heritage and grandiose nature.
I apply myself to illustrate the vibrations that bring life to everything, especially light and in colours. Painting what is visible to your eyes and what only your soul perceives.
Finding the right balance between accuracy and fantasy in my drawings and composition.

Biography

Originally from Montréal, Québec, moved to Pictou, Nova Scotia, in April 2022.
I grew up with a pencil in his hand as a medium of expression. Books, comics and cartoons on television feed my imagination and covered the sheet of paper. Studies in mechanical design drawing followed by a career in aerospace design did not satisfy his artistic thirst.
I began to study Visual Arts at Cégep du Vieux Montréal and subsequently Film Animation at Concordia University, which recognized my talent by awarding me prizes and mentions.
