Biography

Bailee Higgins (she/her) is an Unama’ki - Cape Breton Island based visual artist and art educator.

Her art practice currently focuses on landscape painting. She creates bright, bold, and vibrant paintings inspired by her surroundings which are aimed at capturing the essence and feeling of a place.

Bailee is a graduate of Cape Breton University’s Bachelor of Education (2024), NSCAD’s Master of Arts in Art Education (2022) and Mount Allison University’s Bachelor of Fine Arts (2020).
