As a self-taught acrylic artist based in captivating Nova Scotia, I find my inspiration in the beauty that surrounds me. Nature’s vibrant colors and intricate details inspire me to capture their essence on canvas, allowing me to share my unique perspective with the world.

My art is a celebration of nature, but it's also an exploration of feminine energy. I am drawn to the strength, grace, and resilience that define both the natural world and the women I depict in my paintings. Through bold strokes and vivid palettes, I aim to convey the duality of softness and power, creating compositions that resonate with emotional depth and authenticity.

Biography

Annette Lowe is a passionate self-taught artist from Nova Scotia whose work focuses on capturing the natural beauty of her surroundings. Using acrylics and sketches as her primary mediums, she creates vivid landscapes and scenes that reflect the serenity and vibrancy of the province.

Beyond her artistic endeavors, Annette leads a busy life working full-time at a high school, but still finds time for her creative practice, continually exploring new techniques and ideas to refine her craft. Annette is happily married and a devoted dog mom to two playful beagles.
