Seeking artists who love their practice and connecting with children and youth. PAINTS (Professional Artists In The Schools) is accepting applications from artists. PAINTS helps schools in Nova Scotia bring professional visual artists into their classrooms. There are artists living and working in every part of NS who are part of the program.

Projects can range from 3 to 12 hours, and can involve artists working in every imaginable discipline. Individual PAINTS artists can work up to 24 hours per school year through the program. Projects are made to work for students ranging in age and ability (the program is for grades Primary to 12), there should always be a connection back to the artist’s own work. Click here to go straight to the online application form. Deadline: September 1.
