In line with current peer support and educational programming such as the VANS Mentorship Program and Professional Development Workshop Series, Visual Arts Nova Scotia will begin facilitating a Peer Application Review Group with the first deadline to participate on April 3, 2014.

In the spirit of a book club, members of Visual Arts Nova Scotia seeking feedback on their next application will be grouped with others making a similar application on a first come first served basis. Artists will not only get feedback on their application from two peers, but will also review their peer’s applications and begin preparing their application well ahead of the deadline.

This first initiative is scheduled in time for the Arts Nova Scotia Grants to Individuals deadline. Participants will be given two rough draft deadlines and will be expected to send edits back to their peers the week following.To participate in a Peer Application Review Group, members can sign up on our website: https://www.visualarts.ns.ca/programs/peer-application-review-groups/
