Artist Statement

Melany Nugent-Noble is a Canadian artist currently based in Kjipuktuk/Halifax Canada. Nugent-Noble’s research and practice regularly engages with the political nature of public spaces, texts, and speeches, and takes various forms including installation, art books, and performance.

Nugent-Noble holds an MFA from Emily Carr University of Art + Design, Vancouver (2015).
