Annie Smith – Kenny
Artist Statement
As a lifelong artist born and raised in Nova Scotia, I draw endless inspiration from the sea that surrounds me. My fish shack doubles as both a roadside stand and a studio, where I create whimsical, sustainable art on repurposed wood using reclaimed paints and ghost gear gathered from the shores.
Each piece I craft reflects the beauty and charm of the ocean, blending imagination with the spirit of sustainability a small “drop in the bucket” toward preserving our planet. My art is created with a single purpose: to bring joy and delight to those who experience it.
Every piece carries a story, an intention to spread happiness and brighten any space it inhabits. Whether you visit me at the shack or explore my work online, I hope to share this joy and connect through my creations.
