VANS invites current gallery and group members to apply for our Open Grants program, which serves to encourage exhibition activities across the province. We have made some changes to the program this year, so please read them carefully before applying. Any gallery or group who is a current member of Visual Arts Nova Scotia is eligible to apply for up to $250 to assist with costs related to an exhibition. There are limited grants and all applications will be reviewed by the VANS Programming Committee and notified within 2 weeks. We do not prescribe how funds must be spent however, priority will be given to special projects, collaborations or enhancing the exhibition programming

The program will accept applications twice a year: between March 24 and April 1, and September 23 and October 1. Unlike previous years, applications will not be accepted after the deadline April 1st at 5pm.
